Sapphire International School used its online platform to pay tribute to the Legendary Sportsman Padmashri Milkha Singh. The special assembly commenced with a Shloka and Hindi prayer by Rudransh and Priyanshu.

Aparajita and Anand shared the thought inspired by a quote of Milkha Singh.

Himanshi Priyadarshini dedicated a poem in honour of the iconic sprinter.

The ‘Life of Milkha Singh’ was beautifully depicted by Swati, Ishita and Rishi through a PowerPoint presentation.

After the presentation the students had an interactive session. The Principal’s address to the assembly was full of nuggets of wisdom, as he encouraged everyone to take inspiration from the life of Milkha Singh and bring laurels to our nation.

It was indeed a motivational assembly which induced determination and dedication in all.
