Children’s Day Celebration
As the nation celebrates the birth anniversary of our first prime minister pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for children in the form of children’s day, a special morning assembly was organized by the teachers of Sapphire International school, to mark the occasion.
The Programme commenced with the prayer to the almighty, by the school teachers. Mr. Arijit delivered a witty thought of the day while Mr. Ajay Chouhan, Academic Head put the essence of the Day in true perspective.
The little ones were ecstatic to spot their dance teacher Ms. Shruti along with Ms. Khusboo and Ms. Kajal emerge from the back stage for a scintillating dance performance. However, Mr. Manoj , cricket coach, was the show stealer with his rocking dance performance. Such was the impact that he had all the students joining him on the floor. The sports teachers won the hearts of all the students and the teachers when they scorched the stage with ‘The Ramp walk’. Mr. B C Tripathi and Mr. Manoj presented a heart-warming song and made the music come alive. A rib tickling,fun filled parody on ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ was presented by the teachers , leaving the students rolling in the aisles.
The show stopper was an energetic and rhythmic dance performance by all the teachers to popular numbers like ‘Kala Chasma’, ‘Asarfi’ and ‘Nagpuri dance.
The jolly and mirthful proceedings concluded with a message from Mr. Amit Singh, Principal, Sapphire International School, where he shared his thoughts and feedback on the event. He praised and encouraged the teachers for their creativity and effort and wished all the students a joyful children’s day.
The celebrations came to an end with the distribution of cakes and chocolates.
