International Family Day

"Family is where we live together and become partners of everyone's happiness and sorrows, but now this practice is slowly declining because joint families are breaking up and the tradition of nuclear family is increasing rapidly."
Saanvi & Aanjneya of Grade 9 stated the above statement in the Assembly organized on the occasion of International Family Day 2022 at Sapphire International School, by the students of Grade 9.
The programme started with the morning thought delivered by Aastha and Sanskriti of Grade IX and a prayer song by the class choir.
A play on joint family and nuclear family was presented by the students on this occasion. A melodious song was presented by Aashi and Anshika.
The programme was meticulously conducted and a vote of thanks was proposed by Aanjneya and Saanvi. The whole programme was conducted under the guidance of their Class teacher Kishan Poddar.
The assembly concluded by the address of the Principal, who said that a family doesn't only mean living together, but every member of the family should take care of each other. Only then that family avoids breakage and develops continuously.
