Biodiversity day is celebrated every year on 22nd of May. Biodiversity is so great and has rich hidden treasures inside it. Biodiversity is the greatest treasure we have.

Biodiversity is very important for every specie and it is for all human race.

Biodiversity conservation refers to the protection conservation, uplift and judicious management of biodiversity.

Grade 8 conducted a Special Assembly on the critical Importance of Biodiversity on the 19th of July. The programme started with a prayer song by the class choir followed by the introduction of Biodiversity by Archit Agarwal.

Atharva explained the importance of ecosystem through Kabir ke Kavya which motivates all and conveys the message that we should thank our Mother Earth for providing all the resources we need and our responsibility to preserve it for future generations.

Abhay, Anurag, Bhimsen, Happy, Mantra, Naman and Rishi made the audience aware of importance of biodiversity through a skit “The giving tree.”

In order to derive sustainable benefits of present and future generation, Shreyansh invited all present to take a pledge to do one's bit towards conserving and protecting Mother Nature.

The entire assembly was compered by Akash Kumar and concluded with the address by the Principal, who shed   light and shared fascinating insights on bio-diversity conservation.
