World Nature Conservation Day

Observed on July 28 annually, World Nature Conservation Day acknowledges that a healthy environment is the foundation for a stable and healthy society.
Sapphire International School conducted a special Online Assembly to observe World Nature Conservation Day on the 26th of July. The programme commenced with a prayer by Sharon, followed by a soul- stirring speech by Anush on the importance of conserving the environment.
Shazmah narrated a heart touching story describing the plight of the Mother Nature.
Richa and Atharva enlightened the audience with several gripping facts about Tigers and other endangered animals.
The students of Grade 8 presented a Poster Compilation awaring the audience about Nature Conservation.
Sharon delightfully compered the entire programme.
The Assembly concluded with the address by the Principal, who encouraged the students to 'Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose and Recycle'.
The Science Department played a key role in conducting this educative assembly.
