National Doctors’ Day

National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on the 1st of July to honour the birth and death anniversary of the great physician and second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. This day is celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities.
Sapphire International School conducted a special Online Assembly to celebrate National Doctor’s Day on the 2nd of July.
The Assembly began with a prayer by Saanvi. The thought of the day was shared by Aaradhya.
Frank informed the audience about the need and significance of observing, National Doctor’s Day'. A video collage and a video presentation were presented which reminded everyone about the contributions and sacrifices made by doctors and the healthcare staff around the globe daily. The students of Grade 3 played an important role in conducting the assembly.
The Assembly concluded with the address by the Principal, who encouraged and motivated the students to take up this noble profession and save humanity from future health emergencies.
