World No Tobacco Day

World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) is observed around the world every year on 31st May. This yearly celebration is intended to raise public awareness on the dangers of using tobacco.
Sapphire International School organised a special online assembly to observe World No Tobacco Day, on 31st May to educate the students, parents, guardians and other stakeholders about the serious health risks associated with using tobacco, in any form.
The special assembly started with a Hindi Prayer by Aditya Gaurav , followed by English Prayer by Sanskriti Pal.The students prayed for the good health and happiness of everyone.
Shazmah Shakil delivered rousing speech, drawing attention to the need and significance of observing the World No Tobacco Day and spotlighting the ill effects of using tobacco .
Siddhant Bose presented the data analysis of the last five years of deaths and losses due to tobacco consumption.
Aditya Gaurav recited a monologue emphasizing the loss and complications, faced by a tobbaco addict.
Harsh Jha acted as a facilitator and concluded the programme with a pledge of never consuming tobacco and motivating others not to use tobacco in any form, whatsoever.
